We are conducting one year certificate course in bee keeping with 45 practical classes. The course ensures the candidates, well defined knowledge to keep honey bees and extract honey from the bee bread. We are aiming healthy as well as wealthy people around us and in Kerala and also believes it brings a good earnings in every family. So we promote this program to learn atleast one member from one family.

Bharath Bee Keeping Centre is the only one institution who offers free one year course. Most of the applicants who  completed the course are now in the bee keeping industry since 2003.

We are concentrating in protection of honey bees in rainy season (training period in between May –September). There are 9 sessions in this period for artificial feeding. In September-October season they will learn to identify the different types of bees called Queen, drown and worker. Also, five sessions were arranged for dividing bee colonies. These session include brining out queen bee larvae, renew the old queen bee into divided bee colony and to find out the best queen bee larvae and putting them into another bee colonies.

Two sessions in November covers bee colony development by artificial feeding. Next five session include, lifting bee breads from down to upwards. February-April sessions giving a clear picture how to produce honey from rubber plantation and will complete 39 sessions till April.

New batch entrance as well as certificate distribution for the finished batch will be held on 2020 May.

Selected candidates divided into groups and will provide separate bee boxes. Definitely, it helps to develop an attachment to the bee box as it their own. Also, they have a chance to buy bee colonies in a minimal rate.

A program is implemented for the storage of honey from the certificate holders of our institution in a better price rather than the government decided. Students who attend all the classes will get bee box and bee hive equipments in a subsidy rate by linking it to the training of State Horticorp of Kerala. Certificate distribution to everyone fulfills the course also will be on same time.
